Minnesota, the “Gopher State”, is in the geographical center of the North America. Containing over 11,000 lakes in the states. The climate of Minnesota varies to some extent with the latitude. The summers are moderate in temperature, averaging 72 degrees, with occasional periods of very hot days of 95 to 100 degrees in midsummer.
