Missouri, the “Show Me State”. The state lies between the geographical center of the United States and its center of population. Divided by the Missouri River into two unequal sections, this state has much to offer hunters. The state has a continental climate, meaning it suffers from extremes of heat and cold. Situated in the interior of the continent, midway between the northern and southern limits of the United States and too far from the oceans or the Great Lakes to be influenced by them, Missouri has a continental climate and suffers from extremes of heat and cold.
